Don Julio 1942

Don Julio Tequila is named after its founder, Don Julio González-Frausto Estrada, who began distilling tequila in 1942 at age 17. Acknowledging the benefits of vertical integration, Gonzalez-Frausto established his own distillery, La Primavera, and spent the next 40 years improving his craft. He experimented with controlling various aspects of the tequila-making process, "from the cultivation of the agave to the bottling of the final product."

He named his distillery La Primavera (the Springtime) where he produced his first brand Tres Magueyes.

Don Julio 1942 is made at Tequila Don Julio, in the Los Altos highlands region of Jalisco. It is a clean, thin, smooth anejo.

It is light, not overly complicated in aroma and taste, a sweet and smooth anejo. It has a nice light caramel taste. Don Julio 1942, was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the opening of Don Julio's first distillery, La Primavera in 1942

Nuits subregion of BurgundyFrance, with Pinot Noir as the primary grape variety.

Romanée-Conti has been called "one of the greatest wines of the world and the most perfect as well as the most expensive of Burgundy with a forceful bouquet of violet mixed with a scent of cherry, a lively and profound ruby robe, a suaveness of exceptional finesse. "The wine has been highly regarded for centuries. In 1780, the Archbishop of Paris declared it "velvet and satin" in bottles.

Wine critic Clive Coates praised the Romanée-Conti as: "the purest, most aristocratic and most intense example of Pinot Noir you could possibly imagine. Not only nectar: a yardstick with which to judge all other Burgundies."Roald Dahl once wrote of it, "Sense for me this perfume! Breathe this bouquet! Taste it! Drink it! But never try to describe it! Impossible to give an account of such a delicacy with words! To drink Romanée-Conti is equivalent to experiencing an orgasm at once in the mouth and in the nose.

Dom Perignon, Vintage

Dom Perignon is a brand of vintage Champagne produced by the Champagne house of

Moet & Chandon. It is named after Dom Perignon,

a Benedectine monk who was an important quality pioneer for Champagne wine.

He pioneered a number of wine making techniques around 1670, being the first to blend grapes in such a way as to improve the quality of wines, perfecting the art of producing clear white wines from black grapes, to retain their natural sugar in order to naturally induce secondary fermentation in the spring.

On the Nose

The luminous sweetness of tropical fruit - green mango, melon, pineapple - instantly shines. It then cedes to more temperate notes, the tingle of orange zest, the mist of a mandarin orange. The wine breathes, revealing its freshness. The bloom after the rain. A tactile sensation of peony, jasmine and lilac.

On the Palate

The wine immediately imposes its ample presence, full and massive. A sappy sensation dominates as the tactile is rapidly overtaken by the aromatic. The body unfold, generous, firm and controlled. Then it contracts, letting the wine vibrate with spices and pepper.

Petrus 1981

The wine is named after Saint Peter. Petrus is a Bordeaux wine estate located in the Pomerol appellation near its eastern border to Saint-Emilion.

A small estate of just 11.4 hectares (28 acres), it produces a red wine entirely from Merlot grapes since the end of 2010 and produces no second wine.

The estate belongs to Jean-Francois Moueix and his children.

Petrus is widely regarded as the outstanding wine of the appellation. It ranks consistently among the world's most expensive wines.

The 1981 vintage of Petrus was initially austere and closed. It is only after long aeration that it reveals its full potential.

On the nose, it gives off a discreet bouquet of red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, and roasted notes of coffee mixed with woody hints of oak and warm spices.

Petrus 1981 is not a Petrus like the others, it still presents a great elegance but in a smoother and less fancy way.
